Job Summary
Delight Care & Support Services Ltd is looking for caring and reliable female Care Support Workers to support clients in their own homes across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
The company is a CIW-registered domiciliary care provider delivering person-centred care with dignity, respect and compassion.
As a Care Support Worker, you will visit clients in their homes, supporting them with daily living activities and helping them remain independent, safe and comfortable.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own car.
This role is open to female applicants only due to the personal care needs of clients, as permitted under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9).

Main Responsibilities
As a Care Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Provide personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting, with dignity and respect.

Prompt or administer medication in line with training and MAR charts.
-
Prepare meals and drinks and support good nutrition and hydration.
-
Support safe mobility and moving and handling.
-
Carry out light domestic tasks where set out in the care plan.
-
Offer companionship and emotional support.
-
Complete accurate care records on the company’s digital care system.
-
Follow individual care plans and company policies at all times.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Full UK driving licence and access to their own car (essential).

Female applicants only.
-
Right to work in the UK.
-
Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
-
Good communication skills and a genuinely caring nature.
Previous Experience: Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, as full training is provided.
Working Hours and Arrangements
Delight Care & Support Services Ltd offers flexible shifts to fit around your availability.
Available shifts include:

Morning shifts.

Afternoon shifts.
-
Evening shifts.
-
Weekend shifts.
A flexible rota will be built around your availability.
The role is community-based and requires driving between clients’ homes.
