The Université Paris-Saclay International Master’s Scholarships Program is designed to attract outstanding international students and support them in accessing high-quality master’s programs, particularly those aiming to continue toward a PhD.
As part of its internationalization strategy, Université Paris-Saclay offers generous financial aid to help cover living costs, travel, and visa expenses for talented students from around the world.

- Both M1 (first year) and M2 (second year) are eligible
- Vocational/apprenticeship programs (formations en apprentissage) are not eligible
For students admitted in M1, the scholarship is automatically renewed for M2, provided all required credits are successfully completed.

Benefits
Selected students will receive:
- €10,000 per year, paid monthly from September to June
- Travel and visa allowance up to €900, depending on country of origin
- Administrative support for visa and settlement procedures
- Guidance for accommodation search (housing not guaranteed)
Note: Scholarship payments begin only after arrival in France and official enrollment. No advance payments are made. The amount may be reduced during periods spent abroad or internships outside Université Paris-Saclay affiliated laboratories.
Eligible Nationalities
Open to applicants of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following conditions:
- Be of foreign nationality
- Be under 30 years of age during the year of application
- Be admitted to an eligible Master’s program at Université Paris-Saclay
- Be enrolling in France for the first time (exchange programs and some joint degrees excluded)
- Not receive other funding exceeding €600 per month
- Not hold or combine this scholarship with:
- Eiffel Excellence Scholarship
- Europa Scholarship
- Erasmus Mundus Scholarship
Application Procedure
Step 1: Apply for a Master’s Program
Apply to an eligible Master’s program at Université Paris-Saclay before the scholarship deadline. Only candidates admitted before the deadline can be considered.
Step 2: Nomination by Program Coordinators
Selected candidates will receive an email invitation to complete the scholarship application form online. Some applicants may be asked to provide two referees.
Note: Email or late applications are not accepted.
Step 3: Selection by Scholarship Jury
A jury composed of Graduate School experts evaluates applications based on:
- Academic excellence
- Quality of personal and academic project
- Motivation for pursuing a PhD at Université Paris-Saclay (especially for M2 candidates)
A bonus system applies for refugee students or students with subsidiary protection, in collaboration with UNHCR.
All applicants will be informed of the final decision by email. Jury decisions are final and non-appealable.
