Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the CPRA, applicants must meet the following conditions:

Hold or expect to hold a PhD or health professional degree

Have completed all doctoral degree requirements within the last 3 years (extensions available)

Must not hold a tenured or tenure-track faculty position

Must not have previously held a Tri-Agency postdoctoral award (including Banting)

Research proposal must be new, original, and distinct from the doctoral thesis

Applicants may apply a maximum of three times
