Summary
We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own strategy and execution for Ascend’s omnichannel growth roadmap. This role is responsible for defining and scaling coordinated channel experiences across a wide variety of channels, standard to unique and differentiated.
You will lead cross-functional teams to move initiatives from concept to launch and from pilot to repeatable, scalable programs. You will be accountable for measurable outcomes, including channel adoption, engagement and conversion performance, launch velocity, and partner value creation.
This is a highly collaborative role across Engineering, Design, Data, Commercial, Customer Success, Operations, and Compliance/MLR in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:
Product Strategy, Ownership, and Delivery
- Define and evolve Ascend’s product vision and omnichannel strategy aligned to company and revenue goals.
- Build and manage a clear, prioritized roadmap across channels, integrations, and platform capabilities.
- Lead initiatives from discovery through launch with strong execution discipline, quality, and measurable outcomes.
- Translate customer insights, market signals, and business priorities into actionable product requirements.
- Build scalable product operations, documentation, and delivery practices that support repeatable growth.
OmniChannel Growth and Optimization
- Own channel strategy across a wide variety of channels.
- Establish KPI frameworks and reporting for adoption, engagement, conversion, incrementality, retention, and partner impact.
- Drive a test-and-learn operating model (experimentation, readouts, iteration loops) to improve channel performance over time.
- Scale successful pilots into standardized playbooks, tooling, and launch processes that reduce time-to-market.
Customer, Market, and Partner Leadership
- Develop a deep understanding of HCP, APP, and pharma stakeholder workflows, needs, and communication preferences.
- Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to shape roadmap decisions that support adoption and monetization.
- Evaluate build-vs-buy opportunities and manage key platform/vendor decisions (e.g., CRM, ESP, DSP, API partners).
- Stay ahead of industry trends in HCP engagement, health tech, and AI-enabled communications.
Compliance, Risk, and Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Compliance/MLR, Legal, and Privacy stakeholders to proactively de-risk launches while maintaining execution speed.
- Ensure product decisions and channel experiences meet ethical and regulatory requirements.
- Lead through influence across cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver aligned outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of product management experience (HealthTech, SaaS, digital media, or adjacent industries preferred).
- Proven success owning product strategy and execution for complex, multi-channel platforms with integrations.
- Demonstrated track record scaling products from pilot to production with meaningful customer and business impact.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, including experimentation design, metric frameworks, and performance analysis.
- Experience working in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills across technical and non-technical partners.
- Familiarity with healthcare/life sciences workflows and regulated go-to-market environments is strongly preferred.
- Nice to have: experience with CRM integration, ESP/DSP ecosystems, API-driven products, and privacy/security frameworks.
The base salary range for this role is $160,000-$200,000
