About the Role
SM Facilities Management has developed a new online platform in the property and services sector and is looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Virtual Assistant to support the early stages of business development.
This role will involve online research, data entry, phone calls, email outreach, admin support and helping prepare information for a growing digital platform.
The ideal candidate will be confident speaking with businesses by phone, detail-focused, comfortable using online tools, and able to work independently.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out online research on service providers, businesses and professionals in selected regions
- Build and maintain organised spreadsheets and contact databases
- Make phone calls to businesses and service providers to gather information and confirm details
- Introduce the platform in a professional and general way without disclosing sensitive business information
- Assist with email outreach and follow-up messages
- Research competitors, directories, websites and online listings
- Help identify suitable partners, suppliers and service providers
- Help prepare basic profile information for businesses or professionals
- Support the creation of location-based content and research
- Test website forms, quote flows and user experience
- Keep records updated and well organised
- Provide weekly progress updates
- Assist with general admin tasks as the platform develops
Ideal Candidate

- Comfortable using Google Sheets, Excel, Gmail and online tools

Hours
Part-time role to start.
Approx. 10–30 hours per week, depending on workload and performance.
Flexible working hours, but some availability during UK business hours is preferred.
Pay
Hourly rate depending on experience.
