Job Description

Highnote is looking for a Network Operations Specialist to join the Partner Operations team. This is a key role working internally across the organization and externally with our key card network partners, sponsor banks, fulfillment providers, terminal manufacturers and with our subscribers. The role will assist the team with day to day network operations, projects & issues triaging and resolution, analyze performance and financial metrics.

Representative projects include: Managing BIN orders with partner banks, BIN installations – issuing and acquiring. Assisting with network projects, network reporting set up and analysis, tokenization setup and operationalization.  The role requires experience in BIN setup & management, network compliance, program/merchant onboarding processes with networks including network approvals for issuing and acquiring programs etc.

The ideal candidate will have worked at a card network, processor, gateway or at a bank in a similar capacity. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to internal functions at Highnote which include Business Operations, Analytics & Business Intelligence, Implementation, Product, Engineering, Finance, Risk and Compliance etc. You will report into the Head of Partner Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day to day network operations with Highnote’s partner networks and banks
  • Initiate and manage project implementations with the card networks, including BIN set up, migrations updates etc.
  • Create and maintain tracking for all projects across the Partner Operations Team.
  • Provide back up for current projects
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication regarding network projects and issues with internal teams
  • Partner with internal teams including Business Operations, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Data, Implementation and Finance teams proactively on network operations related activities
  • Document process improvements, requirements for automation and analysis with the use of AI and data automation tools

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience working with the card networks
  • Prior experience working at a Card Network, Bank, Gateway and/or Processor
  • Detailed understanding of card networks
  • High level understanding of forms, terminology and codes used by the networks
  • Card Issuing and Acquiring experience
  • Self starter who is motivated and has an outrageous attention to detail
  • Team management skills are a definite plus
