Job Overview
Southgate Global Limited is looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Sales Operations Manager to join the Sales team.
This is a key role supporting the effectiveness, efficiency and scalability of the sales operation across channels.
The successful candidate will work closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to improve processes, strengthen reporting, optimise systems and help drive sustainable revenue growth.
Duties
- Own and maintain CRM systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency and effective day-to-day usage across the sales function
- Produce regular sales reports, dashboards and performance insights for sales leadership and senior stakeholders
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Improve sales and customer service processes, workflows and operating procedures to support productivity and scalability
- Manage lead routing, lead acceptance and handoff processes across marketing, sales and customer service
- Coordinate training and support for sales teams on tools, processes and best practice
- Evaluate sales tools and technology, monitor usage and return on investment, and recommend improvements where appropriate
- Support CRM and systems integration projects in partnership with IT and other business functions
- Contribute to forecasting, annual planning, pipeline governance and sales performance reviews
- Partner with sales and finance leaders to improve forecast accuracy, capacity planning and commercial decision-making
Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in a sales environment, ideally in sales operations, commercial operations, revenue operations or a similar business support role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insight into action
- Salesforce CRM experience and familiarity with wider sales technology
- Confidence producing reports, dashboards and performance analysis for stakeholders
- Strong process improvement skills with the ability to simplify and standardise ways of working
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, customer service and IT
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, support and challenge constructively
- A proactive, detail-focused and commercially aware approach
