Fulbridge Social Care is currently looking for a Residential Children’s Support Worker to join the compassionate and dynamic team.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 of age and over to work in children’s residential home
  • Full UK Drivers licence is required along with vehicle accessibility
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have (or be willing to complete) an enhanced DBS check

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day care, emotional support, and guidance to children and young people
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stable home environment
  • Support children with routines, education, activities, and life skills
  • Be ready to make every day different! From cooking up a storm in the kitchen to kicking a ball in the garden or even trying your hand at some music or crafts, support workers will bring structure, fun, and support to children who need it
  • Build positive, trusting relationships and encourage independence
  • Show enthusiasm and resilience with a proactive, flexible approach to work and problem-solving
  • Stay calm under pressure, with the ability to remain composed in challenging situations
