Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks
• Supporting clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety at all times
• Helping with meal preparation and feeding as required
• Engaging clients in social activities and encouraging participation to promote mental well-being

• Communicating effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Experience

• Previous experience working in the care sector is essential
• Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow prescribed routines accurately
• Basic IT skills for documentation purposes and using digital care management systems
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with clients and team members
• Strong communication skills are essential for building trust and understanding clients’ needs
• Being able to work independently, the role involves managing ones own time between jobs

Requirements

• Relevant care experience
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
