Support Worker – Domiciliary Care
South Hams / Ivybridge Area
Klys Care is looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Support Workers to join its growing domiciliary care team, supporting people in their own homes across the South Hams and Ivybridge area.
No previous care experience is required — full training is provided. If you are someone who genuinely wants to make a difference to people’s lives, Klys Care would love to hear from you.
Guaranteed Shifts
Klys Care currently has the following shifts available:

Monday: 9:30am – 6:15pm

Friday: 7:45am – 7:00pm
-
Sunday: 7:45am – 6:00pm
Additional hours are available on other days for those who would like to work more.
Whether you’re looking for regular hours or want to build your hours around other commitments, Klys Care can offer flexibility.

The Role
As a Domiciliary Care Support Worker, you will support individuals in their own homes and within the community, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
Your duties may include:

Providing person-centred care and support
-
Prompting with personal care where required
-
Medication prompts and support
-
Meal preparation and prompts
-
Supporting with shopping and household tasks
-
Providing companionship and emotional support
-
Supporting individuals to access the community
-
Promoting independence and choice
-
Following individual care plans
-
Supporting people to live safely and comfortably in their own homes
