About the Role

The Accounts Intern will support accounting activities within a small accountancy practice based in North London, N3.

The position is intended for students studying Accounting and Finance or similar subjects who are eligible to undertake an internship as part of their course.

Students on a Post-Study Work (PSW) visa are also eligible to apply.

Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Intern will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the preparation of financial accounts for limited companies.

• Carrying out bookkeeping for clients when required.

• Assisting with VAT and payroll.

• Assisting with Solicitors’ Accountant’s Reports and auditing.

Candidate Requirements

The following qualifications and experience are preferred but not mandatory:

• Graduate or Master’s level students from a UK university.

• Candidates residing in North London.

• Part-qualified ACCA candidates or equivalent.

Language Requirements

A good standard of written and spoken English is required.

Additional language skills are preferred, including:

• Bengali.

• Hindi.

• Chinese.

Salary and Working Arrangements

The internship offers pay starting from £12.71 per hour.

The position is based at an accountancy practice in North London, N3.
