Job Summary

Dynamic Care Support Ltd is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various care settings. The ideal candidate will support residents with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This role is crucial in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for those in care, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized memory or dementia care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support

  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature

  • Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations

  • Support residents during meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being

  • Operate patient monitoring equipment and assist with health assessments

  • Support residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, or other developmental disabilities through specialized care techniques

  • Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with housekeeping tasks as needed

  • Follow all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures in emergency situations

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Document all care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations

Experience and Skills Required

  • Prior experience in assisted living, home health, hospice care, or nursing homes preferred

  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer’s or dementia is highly desirable

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards required

  • Previous caregiving experience involving patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is advantageous

  • Familiarity with care plans, social work principles, and long-term care practices is beneficial

  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary

  • Experience working with people with autism or disabilities is a plus
