Job Summary
The Business Systems Manager is an exciting new role to lead the development and management of corporate systems, driving reporting and impactful dashboards.
At the core of the role is Zoho One, supporting CRM, PMO, analytics, and more. The role focuses on maximising its potential, harmonising data, and exploring innovative tools such as AI and population health systems to optimise functionality and boost productivity.
Strong data and analytics expertise is essential to deliver business intelligence and assurance reporting. Acting as a catalyst for change, the role engages stakeholders, collaborates across the Health Innovation Network, and liaises with the Zoho One partner for system development.
This role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term or secondment basis due to HIEM only receiving funding year on year. Prior line manager approval is required for secondment consideration.
Interviews, including a short test, will be completed in person at offices in Nottingham during January 2025.
Main Duties of the Job
In this dynamic role, the Business Systems Manager will lead the design and optimisation of HIEM’s corporate systems with a strong focus on managing and enhancing Zoho One. The role contributes directly to shaping HIEM’s digital strategy and supports innovation through platforms such as Population Health, Office365, CoPilot, and other systems used by HIEM.
The role involves transforming data into actionable insights through the development of dashboards, assurance reports, and visualisations in collaboration with the Analytics Team.
Responsibilities include overseeing commissioner reporting, project metrics, and PMO processes, providing corporate oversight, and creating clear and compelling documentation for a range of audiences. The Business Systems Manager will act as the main point of contact with the Zoho One Partner for system configuration and improvements.
As the lead for Zoho One Working and Champions Groups, the role champions system optimisation and continuous improvement, ensuring technology supports efficiency and excellence across the organisation.

HIEM operates a hybrid working model, combining home and office working. The office is based in Nottingham, with in-person attendance required as directed by the line manager and for regular Town Hall meetings (approximately 2–4 per year). Travel across the East Midlands may also be required.
This role is offered as full-time, fixed-term or secondment and is subject to a six-month probationary period.
