Responsibilities
- Discuss best practices and strategies for modern data and analytics with clients
- Integrate data sources to build models and reports for business users
- Configure and operationalize cloud infrastructure in Azure
- Speak intelligently to Microsoft’s cloud data strategy and roadmap
- Stay current Microsoft technologies and modern data platform best practices

Technical Skills
- Data engineering experience in Azure and be familiar with modern data platform technologies like Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering and modeling
- Ability to design an end-to-end data analytics solution architecture and drive its implementation
- Deep understanding of Agile engineering practices
- Data Warehousing
- Data ETL/ELT
- Data Modeling (Dimensional/Kimball)
- T-SQL
- Azure Data Factory (or strong SSIS experience)
- Azure Data Lake Store
- SQL Server/Azure SQL
- Azure Analysis Services or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) – Tabular
- Azure DevOps/Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery
