About the Role

You’ll lead on design projects, working alongside colleagues in the Experience & Service Design team and in collaboration with global cross-functional teams.

You’ll help to champion customer experience, designing experiences to support the continued development and growth of new and established products and services for the English Product Group.

Additional Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Initiating, planning and executing design activities to provide deliverables from concept to implementation stages
  • Leading user experience research projects, identifying and acting on findings
  • Establishing and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment of solutions with business strategies
  • Demonstrating a human-centred design approach in all aspects of work
  • Contributing to the development of a highly collaborative and effective design team, aligning to and promoting strategy

This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40–60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location.

Aside from hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including adjustments due to disability or long-term health conditions.

Experience Required

  • Leading complex experience and service design projects, designing digital solutions
  • Organising your time effectively to deliver work within agreed timeframes
  • Working with unknowns, making recommendations and decisions to inform experiences
  • Presenting and communicating work clearly to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Building strong relationships and managing stakeholders, fostering an inclusive environment

  • Working in an Agile/Scrum environment
