About the Role
The Social Media Strategist/Creator will play a key role in shaping and executing Rewriting Earth’s content strategy. The role requires creativity, storytelling ability, and deep understanding of social media trends to co-create engaging, platform-specific content with the internal team and creator network.
The position involves strategising, producing, and managing multimedia content — including videos, graphics, and campaigns — designed to expand reach and engagement across multiple social media channels.
Candidates should have proven experience in running successful social media channels, creating content that reaches large audiences, and co-creating with influencers and creatives across global platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Execution

Collaborate with the team to brainstorm content ideas and campaigns.

Stay up to date with content trends, social media formats, and emerging platforms.

Lead on creative concepts, platform-specific strategies, and content performance improvements.
Video Production & Editing

Plan, shoot, and edit video content independently or with the team.

Repurpose and optimise content for multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc).

Maintain a consistent visual style, tone, and quality across all media.
Social Media Channel Management

Develop and execute social media calendars for all major platforms.

Curate, manage, schedule, and post engaging content.

Use tracking tools to analyse performance and provide insights.

Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build community interaction.
Skills & Qualifications

Expertise in creating social-first content tailored to platform-specific algorithms and trends.

Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to drive channel growth through short- and long-term plans.

Experience collaborating with global influencers and stakeholders across charity, business, and entertainment sectors.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Proficiency in social media asset creation software (CapCut, Edits, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Canva).

Strong video editing skills with a focus on pacing, storytelling, and detail.
