The Role
The position involves working as part of a team to prepare and cook food, helping to keep the kitchen running smoothly while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
With pubs opening early and closing late, flexible shift patterns are available, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes.
Duties Include

Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the correct specification

Operating kitchen workstations such as grills, fryers, and microwaves

Working as part of a team to meet time and quality targets

Following food hygiene, allergen, health, and safety standards

Cleaning as you go, including full kitchen clean-downs

Rotating stock and storing food safely

Completing required induction, role-specific, and ongoing refresher training

Contributing to continuous improvement
