The successful candidate will:

Support the Senior Leadership Team in delivering the company’s strategic objectives through effective development, implementation, and evaluation of communications and marketing strategies.

Provide internal and external communications, marketing, and media support.

Offer reputation management advice and training to the board, executive team, and senior managers.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen the company’s reputation.

Act as a communications link between the company and its stakeholders.

Advise and support communications across all teams within the business.
Main Duties of the Job

Support the Atlas Board and Senior Leadership Team by providing strategic counsel, reputation management, and marketing advice.

Job Description
Responsibilities include:

Supporting the Atlas Board and Senior Leadership Team with communications and marketing strategy.

Managing internal and external communications channels, including digital and social media.

Producing digital and print collateral.

Reviewing and developing communications and marketing policies.
-
Managing departmental budgets.
-
Developing and implementing long-term communications and marketing plans aligned with Atlas business goals.

Engaging colleagues and stakeholders to promote positive stories that strengthen the company’s reputation.

Producing high-quality printed and digital materials, including writing, editing, and liaising with designers.

Organising corporate and recruitment events.
-
Conducting audits and evaluations of communications, including surveys.
-
Building relationships with BTH communications colleagues and wider NHS networks to coordinate messaging.

Developing and managing the company website and intranet.
-
Supporting junior colleagues and handling media inquiries in partnership with clients.

Ensuring brand consistency and compliance with NHS identity and accessibility standards.
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
Essential:

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
-
Post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject area (Master’s level equivalent).
Desirable:

Member of a professional body (e.g., CIPR, CIM).
