My Legacy Tutors is expanding its team and seeking an experienced, high-performing 11+ tutor to deliver both 1:1 and small-group sessions. This role is ideal for a passionate teacher who knows how to make a real impact.
The Role
The company is looking for a skilled and dedicated 11+ Tutor who can teach:

11+ English

11+ Maths
-
Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning

Exam technique and strategy
You will deliver structured, engaging sessions supported by the learning platform and provide clear feedback to help students progress.
Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality 1:1 and small-group tutoring sessions for 11+ students

Teach core 11+ subjects with clarity and strong subject knowledge

Prepare students for all major exam boards and grammar school entry

Use assessment data to identify gaps and tailor learning accordingly

Provide regular feedback to parents/students on progress

Maintain excellent communication and professionalism

Motivate and inspire students to build confidence and achieve mastery

Follow a consistent teaching schedule and uphold strong punctuality
Requirements
To apply, you must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or extensive formal teaching experience

Proven track record of successful 11+ preparation

Strong understanding of 11+ exam formats and requirements

Ability to teach English, Maths, VR, and NVR confidently

Excellent communication skills

Reliable internet connection and a quiet teaching environment

Ability to engage students online using clear, structured teaching methods

Experience teaching KS2
Preferred (not essential):

Experience with online learning tools

Experience marking, assessing, or preparing students for selective school exams
