Job Summary
South West Care Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a care home specialising in senior care, including dementia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the overall operation of the care home, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care tailored to individual needs

Excellent command of the English IELTS B2 above

Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for residents

Supervise and lead a team of care staff, providing guidance, training supervision, and performance management to uphold high standards of care

Oversee medication administration in accordance with legal and organisational policies

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections

Foster positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies

Monitor the quality of care provided, implementing improvements where necessary to enhance resident wellbeing

Lead staff recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development initiatives

Promote a safe and homely environment by ensuring health & safety standards are met consistently
Skills and Experience

Proven management experience within care environments, or similar

Strong leadership qualities with excellent supervising skills

Knowledge of nursing practices related to care

Experience in developing and managing care plans

Competence in medication administration following legal guidelines

Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members

Familiarity with home care services is desirable but not essential
