Job Summary

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Project Manager to lead high-priority projects that support the organisation’s strategic objectives.

The role requires an effective manager capable of developing and delivering projects, leading diverse teams, and driving organisational improvement and efficiency agendas. Excellent communication and engagement skills are essential, as the post holder will need to influence at all levels and navigate barriers to meet organisational expectations.

Main Duties of the Job

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for:

  • Ensuring assigned projects produce the required deliverables within defined quality, time, and cost constraints.

  • Facilitating full realisation of benefits defined in the Business Case through the application of project management methodology and techniques.

  • Supporting the Change Hub/Project Management Office (CH/PMO) work programme.

  • Assisting the named service lead with specific projects.

  • Line managing the Band 5 Assistant Project Manager.

Welsh Language Skills (Desirable):
This role is advertised as Welsh Desirable. While not essential, candidates with Level 3 (CEFR B2) Speaking & Listening skills in Welsh—enabling basic conversations with patients about everyday health—will be considered an advantage.
