Role Overview

A proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Sales team. This position will ensure that all post-sale processes operate smoothly and that the relevant financial records are accurate.

The Sales Support Assistant will ensure that post-sale events such as course extensions and refunds are processed correctly. They will also be responsible for ensuring all money due is received and accurately recorded in a timely manner.

The Sales Support Assistant will be exposed to many different tasks and so must have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working accurately. Confidence and good communication skills are highly valued, together with the ability to identify potential improvements to processes and procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain all-round experience in sales within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing post-sale events such as course extensions, course changes, cancellations, and refunds

  • Chasing settlement of invoices for course deposits

  • Processing receipts of relevant money in bank accounts in financial (Xero) and operational systems (Schoolworks / Salesforce)

  • Ensuring that the relevant financial records are up-to-date and accurate, and sharing this information with the Finance team

  • Credit control for outstanding debtors

Requirements

The London School of English would love to hear from people with:

  • Previous experience in a similar Sales Support role

  • Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel

  • Desirable skills: previous experience with Xero and Schoolworks / Salesforce

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills: Ability to work with speed and accuracy with numbers

  • Attention to detail and a naturally diligent approach to their work

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • A strong team player

  • A problem-solving and proactive attitude

Working Schedule

  • Monday to Friday: 4 hours per day
