Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the provision of a  administrative and secretarial service within the NMHT.  The post holder will also be responsible for supporting the team of professionals engaged in providing treatment to service users with Mental Health related problems.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • NVQ Business admin level 2 or equivalent
  • English GCSE grade 4 or equivalent
  • Maths GCSE grade 4 or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • RSA II

Knowledge and experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of dealing with sensitive/distressing issues.
  • Significant secretarial experience preferably within a medical background.
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in health care setting
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment.

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Working experience of minute taking.
  • working experience of using Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
