Duties
Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately and efficiently
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met
Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales
Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery
Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
Process payments accurately using the POS system and issue receipts as required
Support other team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes
Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as kitchens or culinary settings is desirable
A genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences
Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
