You’re a strategically based, craft obsessed writer of ideas of all shapes and sizes – from campaigns, content, brand moments, creative platforms, Et cetera and so on. You’re a writer’s writer – not just an advertising copywriter. You think in long form and short form and rap verses and poetry and everything in between and you understand it’s all about speaking to people in the way they want to be spoken to. You can get to the heart of a message in the fewest number of characters and thrive in the crafting of phrases that create momentum. You’re tuned into the zeitgeist and consistently leverage cultural insights in your work. You’re production savvy – from big campaigns to quickturn social content. You’re ready for a challenge – something that satisfies and expands and piques your intellect, your interpersonal talents, and of course, your microbiome.

This role reports to the Creative Director and is an opportunity to do amazing work alongside a wonderful assemblage of talented and kind human beings.

Responsibilities

  • Generate Big Ideas: Campaigns, content and brand moments are your natural habitat. You’ll author ideas born from authenticity, simplicity, and audacity.
  • Brand Voice: You’ll be a steward of the brand’s Voice & Tone. You’ll strive for consistency and clarity. You’ll sweat the details – whether a small piece of copy or a giant campaign.
  • Multi-Channel: You’re comfortable with advertising and design in all its forms. You’ll have a key role in our social channels.
  • Work Collaboratively: You’ll partner with art directors, designers, cross functional partners, etc.
  • Standard Operating Procedure: Good to each other. Hard on the work.

Requirments

  • Experience: A writer with five-to-eight years experience – either agency or brand-side – with a portfolio that’s filled with original thinking, immaculate craft and audacious swings.
  • Skillset: You’re not just an advertising writer. You’re a writer’s writer. You don’t settle for the flip phrase or lazy pun. You are an excellent writer of headlines.
  • Culture: You’re curious. You’re dialed into what’s happening in culture. You’re tuned into the zeitgeist.
  • Passionate: You give a shit. You care about The Work. You are hellbent on willing great ideas into existence.
  • Production: Experience in working on productions big and small – from quick content shoots to campaign-level work.
  • Comfortable moving from macro to micro—no project is too small to tackle with positivity.

The annual pay range for this full-time position is $135k-$155k + equity + benefits across all US locations (this position is 100% remote-US). Our pay ranges are guided by discipline, level and experience required.
