About True Care
True Care is a private provider of domiciliary and palliative care to adults in accordance with agreed programmes of care, supporting people to stay at home and live independently. The company is looking for caring and reliable individuals to join its team.
Experienced support workers are welcome to apply, although experience is not required as a comprehensive training package is provided to all new starters. A full clean driving licence and access to your own car are required, as the role is community-based.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day duties include:

Working with a fellow team member to deliver care (most clients are supported by two care providers at each home visit)

Assisting service users with personal care such as dressing, using the toilet, and bathing/showering when needed

Supporting service users with mobility, using mobility aid equipment where necessary

Preparing meals and encouraging food and drink intake
-
Prompting medication when needed

Ensuring service users’ homes are kept clean and tidy

Assisting with shopping and household tasks

Recording individual visits and keeping all documentation up to date using the service user log file

Working Patterns
Working hours may vary depending on client contracts.

Morning shift: 7:00 am – 2:00 pm

Afternoon shift: 3:30 pm – 8:30 pm

House sits: Various pre-planned hours

Split shifts: Morning/Afternoon
