We are seeking a Business Development Intern to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about community health and interested in gaining real-world experience in business development, nonprofit operations, and relationship management.

Responsibilities
As a Business Development Intern, you will:
- Research Partnership Opportunities: Identify and evaluate potential partnerships with organizations, businesses, and local stakeholders to expand MedicZero’s reach and impact.
- Develop Outreach Strategies: Assist in creating and executing outreach campaigns targeting OEMs, local businesses, emergency health agencies, and community organizations.
- Support Sponsorship Initiatives: Help secure sponsorships and endorsements for MedicZero’s initiatives, such as funding for training kits and events.
- Assist with Sales Campaigns: Contribute to campaigns selling training services and equipment to local businesses and OEMs, including developing messaging and engaging with contacts via HubSpot.
- Analyze Market Trends: Research trends and opportunities in the nonprofit sector to identify innovative approaches to fundraising and business development.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with MedicZero’s finance, grants, and training teams to align business development goals with organizational priorities.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential partners, sponsors, and donors.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and attributes:
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Public Health, or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively engage partners and stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Passion for Nonprofit Work: Enthusiasm for MedicZero’s mission to reduce health inequities and improve community health outcomes.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Creative thinker with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Team-Oriented Mindset: A collaborative attitude and eagerness to contribute to a mission-driven team.
