YO! Sushi is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Shop Manager to lead one of its busy kiosk operations and inspire a high-performing team.

As a Shop Manager, full ownership of the kiosk’s daily operations is required, including driving sales, maintaining exceptional food quality, and creating an outstanding customer experience.

The role involves leading from the front, motivating the team, and ensuring operational excellence across every shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of stock control and ordering to achieve production and wastage targets
  • Monitor and control labour costs, food costs, and gross sales to ensure profitability
  • Analyse kiosk performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and operational efficiency
  • Manage staff rotas, scheduling, and holidays effectively
  • Provide strong leadership during operational hours and support other counters when required
  • Cover emergency shifts when necessary to support the business
  • Maintain consistently high food quality and presentation standards
  • Ensure excellent cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Lead by example as a safety-minded manager, reporting and addressing food safety or health & safety concerns
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality standards and create memorable customer experiences
  • Inspire, coach, and engage the team to create a positive and inclusive working culture
  • Identify team training and development needs in partnership with senior management
  • Train and mentor team members through supportive coaching and constructive feedback
  • Drive company systems, standards, and new initiatives through role modelling and spot checks
  • Continuously monitor and maintain brand service standards
  • Share a genuine passion for pan-Asian cuisine, hospitality, and customer satisfaction

What YO! Sushi Is Looking For

  • Previous management experience within hospitality, retail food, quick-service restaurant, or similar fast-paced environments
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent understanding of customer service excellence
  • Ability to manage business performance, food quality, and operational standards
  • Commercial awareness with confidence analysing sales and business data
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Flexible, proactive, and solution-focused approach
  • Warm, personable, and team-oriented personality
