We are seeking a detail-oriented Independent Contractor to assist with a growing party stationery and template business operating under our DBA, Thematic Things (coming soon).

This is a fully remote, as-needed position supporting the owner with product management, Shopify and Etsy updates, and digital template preparation. The contractor will work under a signed independent contractor agreement and be compensated on a 1099 basis.

The contractor will assist with maintaining and improving our Shopify and Etsy storefronts while preparing digital products and template designs for sale. This role involves both creative and operational support to ensure products are accurately listed, organized, and presented in a polished, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Proofing products
• Maintain and update Shopify product listings
• Upload and manage products on Shopify and Etsy
• Prepare and organize Canva templates for digital products
• Implement website adjustments and updates on Shopify at the owner’s request
• Write and refine product titles, descriptions, and listing details for Etsy and Shopify
• Assist with product organization, categorization, and listing optimization
• Assist with Printify products through Etsy and Shopify
• Other creative, operational, and administrative tasks related to maintaining the shop

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with Shopify and Etsy platforms
• Proficiency in creating Canva graphics and template preparation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
• Organized, thorough, and reliable
• Positive attitude with a collaborative working style
• Responsive and very communicative
• Experience with Printify or other print-on-demand platforms preferred
